Parametric Solid Model
Using scan data as a reference it is possible to create parametric CAD models as if designed in your native CAD system. Design intent can be analysed and adjusted to create a ‘perfect’ model from ‘imperfect’ real world parts. This method is particularly useful for the end process of:
- Manufacture of legacy parts or components without 3D designs
- Creating 2D drawings
- Use in all major CAD systems including, Catia, Solidworks, PTC Creo, Siemens NX and Autodesk Inventor
- 3d printing for production
