Service & Applications Engineer - SLA 3D Printers
Description
Reporting directly to the technical director, 3DPrintworx is seeking an experienced service and applications engineer to support the gowth of Uniontech SLA machine sales throughout the UK market.
The position would be very much suited to an 'all rounder' with a broad range of pratical and technical skills. The role will include installation of new mahines, the subsequent training of customers and the day to day building of SLA parts for bechmarking and/or 3D print bureau.
Responsibilities
- Prepare 3D print builds for bureau and benchmarking using industry standard software
- Removal and cleaning of bureau parts, ready for delivery to customers
- Installation of Uniontech SLA machines on site at customer locations.
- Training customers on the operation and 'best practises' of SLA machines
- Training customers on 3D build preparation software either Materilaise Magics of Polydevs
- Supporting the sales process at all stages
- Customer-orientated individual who can build long term relationships
Qualifications
Must-Have:
- Engineering based degree or equivalent
- Previous experience working with industrial 3d printing equipment, preferably SLA
- Practical knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems of industrial 3d printers
- Able and willing to travel throughout the UK
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to get along well with others
Nice-to-Have:
- Previous experience of industry-based build preparation software such as Materialise Magics
- Previous experience working within a 3D print bureau
- Experience working directly with customers, preferably in the delivery of support or services
- Ability to adapt to flexible working hours
