Europac3D is located on a beautiful rural business park, a dedicated air conditioned 3d print lab and separate demonstration facility provide a fantastic environment for visiting customers.
The recently refurbished premises located near to Whitchurch in Cheshire has a training facility, demo centre and large temperature controlled laboratory that houses our 3D printing machines.
The new base has been chosen to facilitate the unique position of being one of the only companies in the UK to be able to offer the provision and application of precision 3D printing and scanning equipment all from one location.
Focus for 3d printing and scanning is predominantly within the automotive, aerospace and medical industries, however more and more verticals are now discovering the advantages of 3d such as heritage, film, jewellery and the arts.
The future of 3D printing and scanning is here in Cheshire.
Our new modern office suite houses a training facility, demo centre and a large laboratory for our 3D printers.
Meet the Europac 3D Team
John Beckett
Director and Founder
My background:
I spent a long time getting grey hair working in many different countries throughout the world and signing contracts for UK companies, before founding Europac 3D.
At work:
As the MD, I lead our team of young engineers to be the best at scanning and reverse engineering in the world, to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations.
When I’m not at work:
I explore the Cheshire countryside by bike and love to return to a BBQ and time with friends and family. I am also very happy to drink red wine over dinner, seated on a terrace overlooking the Tuscan countryside…
The world would be worse without:
Excellent red wine.
Mark Beckett
Technical Director
My background:
A Cardiff University Business graduate, I began my career at Europac3d in 1998 as a CNC programmer on CMMs, mainly focused on Automotive and Aircraft clients. A natural progression from this led to learning 3D laser scanning on co-ordinate measuring arms and has been my passion ever since.
At work:
I have been responsible for leading the company into new areas of business other than our traditional engineering strengths, such as film and TV, art, archaeology, advertising and commercial body scanning/3d printing.
When I’m not at work:
I spend most of my time with the family and squeeze in a few triathlons here and there.
The world would be worse without:
Ideas.
Danielle Kenny
Operations Manager
My background:
This stems from managing a large team of gardeners for a grounds maintenance company where I worked for ~ 5 years, gaining valuable experience managing all functions of the daily business; today these skills have transferred into the engineering industry.
At work:
I have the satisfaction of a very varied role in the office, I am everyone’s point of contact, manage all the customers’ projects and workloads for my exceptional team of engineers, along with invoicing and book keeping to dealing with our suppliers. I get to process everything from start to finish and not often do I let anything pass me, I consider myself organised and thorough and happy to whip the engineers into shape!
When I’m not at work:
I can usually be found outside, either gallivanting around the country on my horse nicknamed ‘Donkey’ or training for a half marathon. Any remaining time is spent embellishing my little house and learning all the trades of DIY mastermind!
The world would be worse without:
My Princess Donkey.
Ian Jackson
Applications Manager
My background:
I am an Honours graduate from Sheffield Hallam University who studied Design and Manufacture with Management. Being able to program CAD/CAM, CNC, CMM and VAL I and II Robots I am a valuable member of the Europac 3D technical team. I have worked within most Engineering sectors and have a long background in the use, repair and support of hi-tech machinery.
At work:
I oversee the technical aspects of adaption and integration of hardware to fit the customer needs.
When I’m not at work:
I like to spend time with my wife and son and go on exotic holidays.
The world would be worse without:
Heavy metal music.
Karl Brown
Sales Manager
My background:
I am a time served engineer with 14 years shop floor experience before graduating into sales some 10 years ago. My first sales job was selling industrial consumables but for the last 8 years my roles have been based around measurement and metrology.
At work:
I have a positive ‘can do’ attitude towards my role and believe in supporting all of Europac3d’s customers in a friendly and professional manner. I try to see the funny side of life and often use this as a way to bond and build relationships with clients. I like to think I have passion for my job and hopefully this shows when I am customer facing when enthusiasm for the products I am selling goes a long way.
When I’m not at work:
I spend a lot of time with my two daughters and my girlfriend, and when not with them I can be found on 1 of my 4 push bikes or watching movies. I also enjoy nice meals out and copious amounts of alcohol…..but in a sensible way of course.
The world would be worse without:
Vodka and cheese!
Shaun Cooper
Applications Engineer
My background:
Has been varied, having worked in the quality department for a large manufacturing company from the age 16 to 24, I then went to university to study zoology. When I graduated I realised that I wanted to continue my career within the engineering sector.
At work:
I have a very interesting role, 3D scanning and printing all kinds of things. Although the tools we use for scanning are essentially the same, the subjects are definitely different!
When I’m not at work:
I like to go on mini adventures, driving to and walking around new places, and sometimes partake in the odd bit of cycling (but only when the weather is nice!).
The world would be worse without:
Burritos.
Mike Lo Bosco
3D Print Technician
My background:
Is in music. I have played drums and guitar in rock and roll bands since the age of 15, touring the country on numerous occasions. Over the years I have been privileged to share the same stages and recording studios as some of the greats.
At work:
My role is to print and process all the weird and wonderful pieces you fine people send our way. I also assist in projects that require the use of our handheld 3D scanners and body scanners.
When I’m not at work:
I enjoy writing music, concerts, exploring the globe and photography.
The world would be worse without:
Music.
Chris Dutton

My background:
I began my career as a freelance 3D Artist while still studying at university. After a decade as a 3D, graphics and web mercenary, and a Masters degree in 3D Modelling, I found myself at Europac 3D.
At work:
I work in a small team processing scan data from the Artec Shapify Booth and Artec Eva scanners, correcting any problems and finalising models for full colour 3D print.
When I’m not at work:
My spare time is mostly devoted to gaming, running, archery and being creative.
The world would be worse without:
Schwarzenegger movies.
